Huw Stephens' Festival Top Tips
Are you working at any festivals this summer?
I'm gonna be DJing on a few stages throughout the summer, watching as many bands as possible, and enjoying the sun and no mud (fingers crossed!).
Which acts are you most looking forward to seeing?
There is going to be an unsigned Radio 1 stage this year at Glasto, so I can't wait to see the bands who are on there, and on the other stages of course, but we'll have to wait til the festival to see who they are!
What can't you be without at a festival?
Toilet paper of course! And water.
Best festival experience ever?
Benicassim in Spain a few years back - a total eye-opener! The first Reading was ace too - camping and watching bands like Catatonia and the Boo Radleys. Glasto is king of course. I love festivals - Green Man, Latitude and Bestival all rule.
And the worst?
Getting lost after Benicassim in Spain one year and turning up at the wrong part of the country! Ooh, and finding a poo on my tent at the Welsh festival Eisteddfod one year. Not nice!
Words of wisdom for festival newbies?
Drink water, wear suncream, have a laugh.
